Mobile Commerce Service (RA-MCS)

The use of cell-phone text messaging is becoming a preferred medium of communication in certain market segments for providing valuable information to customers looking to maximize their experiences at theme parks, sporting events, or during travel. Through its Mobile Commerce Service (RA-MCS), ReadyAlert™ has taken what it have learned from its emergency-alert notification service and adapted it for use in the rapidly growing mobile e-commerce marketplace.

New technology in the wireless e-Commerce arena has made it easier for people to register for specific events using their cell phones. Common Short Codes (CSC) can be used as a simple means to text a message to a short number using the cell phone. This allows for easy registry into the RA-MCS service. New payment methods, such as Premium Short Message Service (PSMS), which can provide a simple and secure payment platform through reverse billing, are also available. Cell-phone customers receive the service fees on their wireless bills. Bill collections are done by the wireless carriers. RA-MCS has three distinct products:
